I welcome conversations with students interested in thesis projects or research in high-dimensional statistics, dependent data, functional data analysis, and probability theory for modern statistical methods.

Research Topics

Topics that currently fit especially well include high-dimensional time series, functional data analysis, long-range dependence, change-point analysis, extremes, and statistical methods for dependent or nonstationary data.

Students interested in mathematically rigorous statistical methods and applications to complex data are especially encouraged to get in touch.
